Joe and Jules Constantine own and operate Constantine Builders, Inc., and have been providing the finest workmanship in custom homes, additions and remodeling in the Upstate NY area since 1981. While providing virtually unlimited service to established clients, Joe prefers to take on time-consuming and often demanding assignments that require a constant honing of skills. The personal touch is important to Constantine Builders. Joe works on virtually all of the company's projects as a full time, hands-on craftsman. His wife, Jules, is the business manager.

The firm's base is a computerized office found in a renovated, turn-of-the-last-century fire station, complete with a brass sliding pole. The bulk of the station houses the firm's wood working shop where trim, as well as cabinetry and custom wood products are created.

Joe comments, "We make much of our own trim in the shop, and because we have our own equipment, we use clear hardwoods to make bigger moldings for windows and doors. We put a lot of crown moldings in because we are making it ourselves and can afford to do more for less cost."
